Willow - sill Baskets

This workshop is a great introduction to willow work, creating something sturdy, functional and attractive and perfect for the summer garden.
Saturday 25 August, 10:00 - 4:00pm, £40.00
You will be taught traditional jewellery making techniques such as piercing, soldering, rolling, annealing and polishing, enabling you to design a necklace/earring. Class is led by designer, gold and silversmith Diane Lyness.
ROBIN PRICE - OXFORD ISLAND OUTREACH PROJECT
MCAC Education team will work alongside sound artist Robin Price to deliver an integrated schools programme which will look at the ‘World Around Us’. Participants will be encouraged to experiment and investigate the natural environment introducing both simple techniques and new technologies.
